Mystery dials

Deep in the dungeon, you find a mysterious terminal, it seems as tough you need to rotate these dials in order to activate something. What would it do?

NOTE: This is by no means a complete game, nor puzzle.

With us all unable to play in person, I designed this puzzle for my TTRPG group, feel free to use it for yourself if you want.

Have your players solve a puzzle to find a configuration and use the returned number to check their answer. Every configuration results in a different number and there is no easily observable pattern in the numbers.
